Puerto Mexico, Tacos and Mexican Products

Just a genuinely authentic Taco. The owner was so nice and friendly. You walk in and feel like you’re in Mexico, well I did anyway. Delicious Tacos. I highly recommend it. Will definitely be back.

I tried the best tacos ever today! The pork tacos were my favorite. Such a cool spot in Kits, and the owner is super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Well deserved of a Dished Vancouver high rating and praise! It has the vibes of a "go through to the back of the store and order" kind of feel to it. Personal favourites are the chicken mole and carnitas tacos. Would highly do again.

My favourite place for tacos and Mexican food supplies west of Main St. Always look forward to coming back. Chicken mole is incredible. There is a bar for quick tacos if you want to eat in.

This is a fantastic option for tacos! I love their tacos and I go here every week because I crave them. Super friendly staff, great selection of Mexican import groceries, and great food. Not a restaurant, just a quick, taco shack for take out or quick eat at bar stool window table. Can’t revoke this place enough.

Authentic Mexican tacos, made fresh to order. Super nice people, seems family owned. Nice selection of Mexican grocery ingredients too. Try the guacamole and jalapeño chips. Delicious!

We were actually in the pasta place next door which is associated with Puerto Mexico restaurant. They serve Italian food. Mostly pasta dishes. The owner used to work at an Italian restaurant and decided to open a restaurant next to the Mexican restaurant. I believe he used to work at the Mexican restaurant before opening the Italian restaurant. I ordered pasta putanesca with shrimp. My wife ordered gnocchi pasta. I had a jarritos drink with my pasta. The food was tasty and mine had a bit of spice which I like. The downside is that the pasta was served in sturdy paper bowls with plastic forks. Some things seemed like an afterthought. The service was slow as there was only one person working. A kid from the Mexican restaurant came over right before we were leaving to give us the tab. Then we paid. My wife mentioned that maybe the reason everything was served with disposable plates and cutlery was because they didn't have a dishwasher. Same as the Mexican restaurant. Overall the food was good, and the service was slow. For a start I think it requires a bit more improvement to make it a good restaurant. It will work well as a take away joint for now.
